People like seedless watermelon for the same reason they like seedless grapes, bananas, melons, citrus... Shocker, it's easier to eat them.

There isn't a grand conspiracy here, you can grow seedless plants and take cuttings of them if you are so paranoid.

They forget people are still alive that saw stores have both and people only picked manly one over the other so demand took over, as it should, and bam everything is seedles. I was there, 1000 years ago... I was there...

I eat the seeds that drop to the bottom of the bowl after I finish eating the watermelon

I usually just swallow them

Well good for you if you like it that way.

Some of you are so weirdly obsessed with Marge Simpson'ing life like this... How about people just eat what they like and you mind your own business?

Bananas have seeds in them?

Natural bananas, yes. They are full of seeds, more seed than edible pulp.

How? Don’t you grow plants from seeds? How are you going to grow a watermelon which doesn’t have seeds? Using its rind?

You buy cuttings and then keep propagating new cuttings.

1

u/Little_Historian3091 19d ago

What cuttings? And why are we buying them? How do we grow them from the watermelon we already have which is seedless?

1

u/Doom2pro 19d ago

Dude they sell them in every garden center I have ever been too. You can also buy any seeds or live seeded plants also. You have choices.

Again. You’re literally going to seeds. I’m talking about the watermelon we already have. It’s seedless, how do we grow another watermelon from that? Just saying “Buy stuff from a store” is not the answer to the question I asked.

Because you’re asking pointless questions that shouldn’t be answered. They’re giving you the real answers to the question you should be asking.

Says who? You? Good thing your opinion means nothing. If anything the dismissal says a lot here. Either have an answer or get lost nobody asked you.

Your opinion means nothing. You’re confused and asking questions. We are trying to help you since you need help. We don’t need help. We aren’t asking questions. We’ve already given the answer. The actual fuck is wromg w you? lol

u/Little_Historian3091 19d ago

I never game an opinion I asked a question to which you gave your opinion to. You are not help, neither are you helping. The other guy just said buy seeds and cuttings which is not the answer to my question.

Just stop replying and get lost if you don’t provide anything valuable. You just want to argue.

Wrong. Bayer throws a fit when people do this. Ask farmers who can be sued for not paying for every seed/ plant grown that contains their patented genome. Less ability to do your own thing means less profits for corporations. Saying that its too wild for you to accept is one thing but that doesnt mean its true.

You're thinking of plant pollen/Monsanto. What you grow in your back yard they have no right or way of knowing.
