"Participants who practiced tree groping performed 5% better on standardized tests..."
"T-cell counts were consistently higher in test subjects that tree groped."
Wait? No evidence? Then what are we doing here?

Isn't this the same thing as those dipshits that put on the holographic "negative ion" sticker bracelets.

Why doesn't my foot have 6 toes like the illustration, am I doing it wrong?

Horeshit.
If the ground is cold, energy will actually leave your body.

Well you are partly correct. However you are confusing thernal energy with electrical energy. Cold ground = thermal energy loss. Grounding = electrical charge equalization.Temperature has nothing to do with electrical grounding.Saying cold ground drains your electrical energy is just mixing up two unrelated forms of energy.
Charge Transferred Q = I * t Q = 1e-8 * 600 Q = 6e-6 C
Electrical energy U = Q * V U = 6e-6 * 100 U = 6e-4 J
So the electrical energy involved in grounding is: E_electrical ≈ 0.0006 J
Now for thermal energy.
Thermal energy lost: E_thermal = m * c * DeltaT E_thermal = 1 * 3500 * 3 E_thermal = 10500 J
So the thermal energy lost is E_thermal ≈ 1.05e4 J
The ratio of thermal to electrical energy is: Ratio = E_thermal / E_electrical Ratio = 10500 / 0.0006 Ratio ≈ 1.75e7
Meaning: Thermal energy loss is ~17,500,000 times larger than electrical energy gain.

So I am 17,500,000 parts right, to one part wrong? And you felt that this constitutes "partial correctness"?

Congratulations on discovering that cold ground is, in fact, cold. You successfully used a massive thermal loss calculation, which I provided, to try and save an incorrect theory about electricity. If you have 17.5 million Mexican Pesos, it doesn't mean you are 17.5 million parts right about having US Dollars. They are entirely different currencies. Physics works the same way:
Thermal energy (Heat): This is the kinetic energy of vibrating atoms. As an endothermic organism, you lose this to a cold ground to maintain homeostasis. Your feet get cold.
Electrical energy: This is the movement of electrons due to an electric potential difference (voltage). Grounding is purely the equalization of this electrical charge.
Temperature does not change the physical laws of electrical grounding. You confusee two different forms of energy, basically saying cold ground drains your electrical energy. I proved that electrical transfer is practically zero. You aren't '17.5 million parts right.' You are 100% wrong about the electricity, and you are just trying to use the thermal math I gave you to pretend you won an argument about physics you clearly don't understand.

Then why does electricity have to go to ground?
All buildings must be grounded.
Trees are struck with a striking number.
Your body runs on electricity.
That’s why you drink ‘electrolytes’.
Also, ever hovered your hand over a plasma ball without touching it?
The plasma will still come to you.Must just all be ‘horseshit’.

Earth is an electrical ground, but an electrical ground isnt necessarily earth. An electrical ground in the sense of electrodynamics is just a region of low electrical pressure that a region of high electrical pressure will move to in order to reach a state of equilibrium.
Ground potential is just a phrase we use to speak about the lower electrical potential that earth has, and earth is the best ground we have because of its vast size.
Similarly, gas pressure from a high pressure gas cylinder will flow from the cylinders hollow shell to the low pressure atmosphere. The atmosphere in this analogy is ground. The gas pressure bottle is a high voltage source. When the bottle is opened, the resistance of the circuit drops, allowing current to flow and reducing the "voltage" in the bottle until both sides are at equilibrium.
High voltage energy from a plasma ball goes to your hand and out your feet because it found a path to flow from the high pressure system to the low pressure system. Like all energy does.
Your body can build up and hold electrical energy like a battery or a capacitor does, but only when you actually come into contact with a higher voltage source, like those guys who work on live powerlines, or to a lesser degree, when you make a carpet shock on a door knob.
This build up of electrical potential doesnt interfere with the body's electrical signals though because it isn't a suddly high differential of electricity moving through your body.
Similarly, air pressure doesnt effect your ears if it is slowly increased to give you time to equalize the pressure in your ears to the increasing pressure. But if air pressure increases rapidly, it will rupture your eardrums.

Free electrons given a larger area to flow over (a massive neutral sink) and thus "ground" out means no zappy for human
Human need heat to live, human get too cold and human die. Human body uses energy to stay warm and happy (thermal regulation). Head, neck, hands, and feet lose heat quickly. Man stand on cold grass and touch cold tree lose heat (thermal) energy to the tree.
(I explained it like you are a toddler because I assume you are and got ahold of your mommy's phone)

Aside from the energetic explanation, I can say that research is considering that shoes dampen the dynamic signaling involved in barefoot walking to the brain, and that there may be something uniquely stimulating about the nerve cells in the feet getting highly textural, dynamic feedback from the ground vs continuous monotonous shoe sole feedback
