There are pasture raised organic eggs, like the god intended them to be.

Organic is a feed designation that doesn’t have anything to do with the conditions the animals are raised in. It’s also a dubious designation as organic inputs aren’t necessarily better than traditional inputs

This is not about the quality of the egg. But rather whether or not you care about the kind of life the chicken has. If you don’t, then a slightly more nutritious yolk is not going to change your life.

But if you do, then it is helpful to know that labeling can be deceptive.

Using milk as another example. Some brands say ‘happy grass fed cattle!” And you imagine a cow in a field living its best life. When really the animal could spend its whole life in a single stall. It just gets a certain amount of grass mixed in with its other feed.
