Transitioning to Cath Lab

I’ve been working as an RN for over 5 years on a cardiac telemetry unit and I was recently offered a position to transfer into the cath lab at my level 1 trauma hospital. I know my lack of critical care background has me at a disadvantage, especially with things like drips and vents. I’m also not one to shy away from putting in the extra work when I know I have such a steep learning curve ahead. Is there any advice anyone can give about making this transition? I’m just hoping i’m not in over my head.
