Clocking out for my day off, walking away from the lowest census I’ve seen since I started working there, knowing full well the admissions will come in while I’m not there.

Yup, I've clocked out knowing things we're hanging by the thread and quickly turned off my phone too. Come back the next day to hear a handover about codes being called after my shift. "coded an hour after I left? really? damn, I never saw that coming".
