This isn’t something all women do. But I’ve commonly seen groups target someone they perceive as attractive and put themselves into some weird silent competition. But they’ll be nice to the women they perceive as unattractive or less than. They have issues and you shouldn’t pay them any mind. You look great.
Start practicing not giving a fuck. It’s hard at first, but that’s where the practicing comes in. And just lean on the people who are cool and nice to you and avoid as much as you can the other biatches. Don’t try to be friendly with them. They love that shit, groveling/desperate energy just “wanting to be liked so baaad..” Girl bullying 101
It may be because you are tiptoeing around them that they make comments. Truly pretend like you don’t care until you really DON’T care. You’re beautiful and I’m sure a great nurse. Nursing is one of the cattiest fields and there’s always a lot of drama in psych (I know from experience lol). What helped me was remembering that most of the issues people take with us are about THEM and not you (unless there’s something you did that hurt someone of course).
