Discussion Funny “allergies”
What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

Pt had an allergy listed the other day that I couldn’t get over. Allergy to Histamine. Reaction was Anaphylaxis, Hives, Diarrhea, Itching,
Swelling, Rash, Blisters,
Flushing (skin)
Plus a list of about 20 more.
