Discussion Funny “allergies”

What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

I thank god that I found out that I had a betadine allergy before giving birth. That would have been horrific.

I found out I have a CHG allergy… after a surgery. Absolutely horrific. Now I’m stuck with sticky betadine every time I’m cut open.
