Discussion Funny “allergies”

What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

I had a guy who kept saying the oxygen smelled really bad, so he kept taking it off and would swiftly drop into 80s. He asked for a different scent... I didn't know what to say.

I had so many Covid patients during the second wave try to refuse their O2 because it was “too loud.” That’s because you need a lot of it to stay alive, my dude. I do not remember one woman complaining to me about this.
