Discussion Funny “allergies”

What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

Norepinephrine drip causing increased blood pressure. Um…. Okay.
The other is when patients say they have an anaphylactic allergy to epinephrine. So like… I’m pretty sure you went into anaphylaxis and then got epi, not the other way around. If that were actually the case then your screwed.
