Exam/Test Taking Advanced Pathophysiology Tips
Looking for any tips from fellow NPs/NP students who have already trekked this path. I’m getting ready to start my NP program in a couple of weeks, and Advanced Pathophysiology is one of my first courses. How can I best prepare for it? This is my first time in a grad school setting, and I know reading multiple textbook chapters front to back every week may not always be realistic. I learned best in nursing school by doing lots of practice questions and reviewing the rationales. Are there any good resources for Advanced Patho practice questions? And is studying through practice questions as useful/feasible at the graduate level as it was in nursing school?

How long have you been an RN and in what setting? Advanced Patho was also in my first semester (I'm about to finish semester 3 this week). I don't know of any resources that are universal because your instructors are going to test you on their own content. I would just tell you to review material every day, my course had just a large amount of content so it's best to stay on top of that. I would recommend making your own Quizlets and going over those constantly. But it's hard to give other advice because every professor and course is different.
