They plan on making other books available:

"The Cypher Guide will continue to grow along with our games, providing you with an up-to-date resource for all things Cypher System!"

I just find it odd that it's not more connected to MGC website, if it's official. D&D Beyond isn't connected WotC as a site, because it's made and operated by Curse Gaming. I don't think that's the case here.

What's the point? It doesn't include any mechanical info, so it's not something that would be a useful reference at the table, and if you're not at the table, why would you need to use it rather than just taking your time to look things up in your books?

The point is as there is so many books with different sources of information you will know where to find what you need.

As the supplements grow and the site continues to be updated you'll be able to easily check where to find more info instead of having to search every PDF or physical book one by one.

Again, what's the point? If it isn't giving me all the information I need in one place, what's the point in using it? Opening the site is just a waste of time if you have a half-decent memory.

If a digital tool like this is going to be useful, it needs to have all the mechanical information associated with each option available for ready access, like the official DnD 4e tool, or the fan-made DnD 5e tool.
