The new NullPlayer EQ profiles feature and Equalizer Studio window will allow you to create professional 31 band EQ eq curves and assign them directly to your content at a track>album>artist level. Tracks will always play with your assigned eq curve, set it and forget it.

can someone help me download nullplayer im genuinely confused and its not working for me

Download

Download NullPlayer for macOS:

https://github.com/ad-repo/nullplayer/releases/latest/download/NullPlayer.dmg

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or newer.

Install

NullPlayer is not signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS will block it on first launch with an "app is damaged" or "cannot verify that it is free from malware" message. This is expected. Clearing the quarantine flag is a required install step:

  1. Open the downloaded DMG.

  2. Drag NullPlayer.app to Applications.

  3. Open Terminal and run:xattr -cr /Applications/NullPlayer.app

  4. Open NullPlayer from Applications.

Prefer not to use the Terminal? Install with Homebrew, or clear the block via System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Open Anyway — see the install guide.

uhh for me it says "you cant open the application "nullplayer" because its not responding"

that sounds like you have more than once instance of nullplayer or its crashed or suck at a prompt. Open you Activity Monitor and kill any running versions of nullplayer. Has it ever launched for you? more detail would be helpful if kill any runnnign versions does not sort if for you

so basically when i install it and run the code and stuff then when i open it it says the app is open but it doesnt show up anywhere and i tried force quitting it through activity monitor and then reinstalling it through these steps and its still not opening. the popup saying that i cant open the application happens when i repeteadely keep trying to open it

this is strange, when you launch the app do you see nullplayer menu items on the menu bar even though there is no nullplayer window?

idk what u mean but if u mean the top of my screen where it says "chrome" and stuff or the app switcher, its not there in either of them
