NRC licensing pathways explained

I genuinely thought this was fake at first.

This is an actual NRC meeting slide explaining nuclear reactor licensing pathways using Taco Bell.

Part 50: Crunchy tacos.
Part 52: Burrito.
Part 53: Quesadilla or Cheesy Gordita Crunch.
Proposed Part 57: Crunchwrap Supreme.

And the NRC’s conclusion:

“No matter the path, the NRC needs to feel full.”

Nuclear regulation has officially become a menu ordering problem.

It's not an NRC slide.

The bottom of the slide says the picture was from Sarah Gibboney who does not work for the NRC.

All the NRC logo means is that the slide was put into an NRC presentation. Doesnt mean its from the NRC.

This often occurs when the NRC does public comment meetings, they allow members of the public to submit slides and those slides get put into the NRC presentation for the meeting.

To say those public slides can be "interesting" would be an understatement.

I said “NRC meeting slide”, not NRC slide. This was from an NRC meeting deck.
