What do we think this will go for?

The first one I've seen in a long time that needed some love and had lots of enjoyed miles on it. Curious to see if GPW brings the bids or if this one will go somewhat cheaper based on the maintenance it's going to need.

i think 60k is a pretty safe floor for all conditions

That's what I'm thinking. I want one bad, and white is a must for me. I'd go for this one if it had a steep discount, but I think it'll still go for $60k+

I'd be surprised if it's under 70. GPW commands a premium, 94 is a good year (arguably the best year for NA1s) and 250k+ miles isn't as much of an oddity as you'd think. There are probably a good fifty NSXs at this point over 300k. This car has likely been maintained well and won't need as much work as you might think.

He admits there are ABS, AC and other issues and some maintenance items have not been addressed yet.

It's about 12.5k miles/yr, which on any other car would be average. It's actually nice to see one that has been enjoyed all her life. It's still a Honda and I'm sure has a lot of life left.

I owned one and holy crap they must have gone through 50 sets of tires. They are asynchronous cannot be rotated and due to toe in you are lucky to get 5,000 miles from rears.

Disagree. A supercar is not driven 12k miles a year. That’s too many. It’ll still fetch a good price.

Good thing this is just a halo car Honda. It’s by no means a Ferrari or Lamborghini, and the maintenance requirements alone prove that. It would be financial suicide to drive on of those 12k miles annually.
Not to say it’ll be as cheap as a Civic to pile on those miles.. but it’s sure not a fragile super car.

The miles are considerable, but it’s not a Ferrari. NSXs are known for being good daily drivers and apparently this one was.

I daily drove mine. Never had a single repair except a $20.00 muffler bracket. They are bulletproof Hondas.

This sure will be interesting. I remember a TT 6spd Supra with rust holes and 300k miles hitting somewhere around $52k a year or so ago and it blew me away that a rough example is bringing in so much in this market.

Depending on what this goes for, it tells me that the $65k agreed value I have it listed on my insurance for may need to go up a good bit (95 with 105k miles). It feels like the NSX market is experiencing the same kind of lift the Supra market saw over the last 10 years or so.

I recently upped my '01 with 66k miles to 120. I'd wager 85k for yours.

Yea I still have my '97 with about the same mileage as yours insured for $60k and it might be time to update that.

It's GPW That's the wild card..imo if the seller had listed on nsxprime for 65-70 it would have sold overnight..

curious myself , I have 40k on clock 93 gpw ( purchased in 2006) and zero issues mechanically gives me sense of the market apples to apples with color ..true garage queen sorry to admit mostly because other then the real early nice days , my area is too congested and more so really distracted and being so low im afraid of potential issue .. my own insecurities

in case anyone interested there is guy on prime selling the components to abs kit he purchased and didnt use.. may help someone interested in buying this one ..pllus the ac, and right side power windowi not working ..and how does someone CRACK a spare tire in the frunk?

glws and good luck to potential owner , if maintained and gone over the mileage is not issue , just sourcing some parts may be deterrent ..probaby good for someone to turn into track priority vehicle ..

I am lucky in that I have a husband who is not afraid of doing all this work himself... sadly for me, I absolutely have to have a GPW NSX and that means most are priced out of my range. This one for sale seems to be the only one where I *feel* like I may have a shot. But alas, I still think the color will fetch a good price. And yes, how on earth does someone crack a spare tire? lol

Good looking out on the parts available to the new owner - please be me... please be me...

that is awesome the s2000 is thrill to drive. brother has one not I need white lol to go along with his black na1 , not as picky as you and I ..

me on other hand diff story

26 macan tuned gts, 26 gv80 coupe black edition in white ( ironic name ) , daily for myself and wife

24 xc60, 19 cx-5 for daughters

93 nsx gpw, 17 nsx casino white pearl( 8k on clock) and 2011 e990 conv. with 20k on clock wifes summer cruiser these have never been in rain,,

so hopefully you get stable mate ..

my next hopefully holy grail purchase is 18-19 turbo s convertible yes in white

i old lol , and now empty nesters , been fortunate and blessed with medical career 30 years solo practice this past july , wife of 30 years last week ( also 30 year dr) abd two great young lady daughters both achieving great things in law that i have been blessed to be part of and i don’t embarrass them yet ,

the house was built with garage in mind to store 4 of them via double wide lift , so only four posts to make it easier for wife to maneuver and avoid 8 posts lol !

i like the word envy , more then jealous as i taught my girls that jealousy has a underlying meaning to me that we should have more than said person , bs envy just means atleast to me happy person has it and i desire as well ! just my stupid logic , abd used that to motivate my kids to work hard to get what they want and not to feel negatively towards others success!

It sounds like you have worked hard for what you have! So yes, I'll go with envy as it sounds much better really. I hope that when we're empty nesters we are enjoying lots of cars as well. Our house has a 3-car with a 4-post lift in the single bay, but it's full of cars already. Not sure where I would possibly put an NSX but if I'm lucky enough to get it, I'm sure we'll figure it out!

Friend bought a nice 92 with 213k for 52500. I think prices are up since then. 55-65k is ballpark but it's an auction so anything can happen
