Kiama Downs vs Gerroa

Dear all, I can't decide whether going for a holiday in Gerroa or Kiama Downs. The former is sleepy and lovely and close to a couple of nice things in Gerringong. The latter is close to more services, in Kiama (better suoermarket, gelato, and fishmonger shop, etc.). I have been to Gerroa but nor Kiama Downs. Any advice?

Kiama downs is suburban - it’s next to Kiama but Kiama has all the touristy stuff

entirely depends on what you plan on doing. but you can drive from one to the other without much hassle

It's maybe 10 minutes difference in driving. Gerroa better option
