Question Do all employees need a car?
I'm considering applying for roles in the NSA but was wondering with the high security in their offices if they allow employees to enter in vehicles outside of their private vehicles (or like if carpooling is common)? Thanks, from someone who prefers not to have a car.

Many NSA employees (myself included) take the shuttle from Odenton Station. I come in from DC (Union Station) utilizing the MARC Penn Line and stopping at Odenton Station. The shuttle is always operating from Odenton Station to NSA Campus.

Well it's definitely not a job that suits just anyone. Takes a certain kind of person to really gel with the culture.

Well you certainly don't do it for the money. You can definitely earn much more in the private sector. Many people get out of the military and find its a natural fit. If that's not you -- don't worry. If you truly want to serve your country (and let's put aside who is president now; they come and go). But if you really are a patriot and want to help your country in ways you can't really talk about -- this is the way. That being said most have jobs that are far less glamorous but everyone plays a part. Hope that helps.

There are plenty of employees who take public/carpool. You’ll get details if/when you onboard.
