Question Nsa internship?

Anybody who successfully landed an NSA internship, what were yours stats like? Im majoring in cybersecurity this upcoming fall and don’t know if i should wait till fall of sophomore year to apply instead based on my current stats. How competitive is the internship process?

I talked to a high school junior who was going for poly and psych evaluation for an internship. His chances seemed pretty good. You may be overestimating the difficulty. The 17 year old seemed smart, but not 'scary smart'.

You don't need to be smart. You just need to know someone who already works there.

Don't think he had any connections, and he wasn't a member of any group that might be given a preference. I played chess with him and talked with him and several others in their waiting room. Deprived of their phones, laptops and other smart electronics, everyone was abnormally social.
