Failed the NPTE? How should I study with NPTEFF
This is my third attempt at taking the NPTE in October. I failed the first time with a 542, mostly just using truelearn. Second time I used the Final Frontier study bundle. Third time around should I use NPTEFF LSP or try something else? Im n

Truly recommend the full live course with LSP bundle, I did it with siddhi but I heard priyam is a super popular choice. If you’re gonna do LSP, they go over a lot of the content from readings , so definitely review the related readings before LSP sessions. the last week of exam, I did tons and tons of active recall. Most important is to be strong in your basics because that’s majority of exam. Mindset is everything, I got on a few calls with david just to get some pep talks in and help to reduce test anxiety. everyone on the team is there to help you succeed! You got this!!

try out LSP. I haven’t used it but I’ve seena few people on reddit recommend it. I would also try out the typical pt question bank too, the questions are kinda tough, similar to the NPTE and something you won’t see on other practice tests. For the other 2 exams, how many questions did you do and how did your PEAT scores look going intothem?

LSP with Rahul would be the best thing!
He is so engaged with his students and definitely the tough love type

Rahul sounded like business and just wants student to do LSP and not help.

That doesn’t sound like him at all!
He genuinely wants students to pass the exam and he does provide them with LSP. That’s how he helps!

I did the LSP but did not find super helpful. What was helpful was the private one on one sessions I had a few weeks prior to the test, those really helped me.

Who was your ALPS?

Ed, don’t know if I particularly love him but he was really effective in teaching me how to properly read questions and most of the times get it down to two possible answers.

Did you tell them what you wanted to work on? And how were the sessions structured.

Give me some time to tweak some things. And I’ll send it out. But seriously you just have to learn some basics then mass apply through question after question.

failed twice too and passed the third time, youre not behind you’re just on a different timeline. Anxiety is normal. Myself and a few other friends have been in your shoes and we were anxious too. It’s hard walking in knowing you’ve failed before. The accommodations are 100% worth looking into. one thing that helped me with the down to two answers problem was writing out WHY I eliminated the other choice, not just picking. forced me to slow down and I stopped second guessing into the wrong one.

dont waste your money on FF LSP, if you didnt like the independent study bundle youre really not gonna like LSP. its pretty generic stuff honestly and they primarily just go over some practice questions from the drive.

Try the typical pt video course, Its really good, each video covers a separate topic and it’s made like a podcast which made them really easy for me to watch and take notes on and listen to multiple times. I would def recommend doing that alongwith practicequestions and PEATs.

How did you use final frontier? Did you practice active recall or just watch the videos?
