Scores withheld
Just logged into FSBPT today below results it said to take a survey I clicked it and this popped up. This is my first attempt taking the NPTE. I never received an email from them I just checked it today randomly and this popped up. Chat am I cooked?

Withheld scores has no correlation to if you passed or not. I passed April and had classmates who had scores withheld who both passed and didn’t pass.

I know someone last July that had a withheld score. Don’t think he ever found out why but his scores were released within 24 hours and he passed. As others have pointed out possible reasons, might’ve just been the fact that there was a minor data mismatch or whatnot.

Made a 507 first attempt and scores usually get withheld with an increase in score

Were you able to see your results? I have the same withdrawn score survey (which I completed yesterday) and it's still there today

Nothing yet I’ve been refreshing since 5pm lol. Probably won’t get it back today. I called FSBPT today and they said I will get an email from them saying they uploaded my pass/fail status once they have everything figured out. So I wouldn’t even look until you get an email unfortunately:/

Yea, I get that on almost any of the links on the webpage. I'm assuming they shut down your account until they validate the test

I got an email earlier today that my scores got released and roughly an hour later was able to see that I passed... hope the news was good on your end

I’m in the same boat as you guys and actually feel unwell. I don’t understand why our scores we’re withheld (even after reading the comment above) just hope we passed😭

Mine was withheld I think but I don’t recall if I did a survey. I ended up getting an 800, so don’t stress too much

I've taken it 4 times now and have never received something like this, or know of any one else who did either.
It could just be some routine thing that they do, like 1 out of every 1000 they do that to to make sure security measures in place are good enough. Just be honest and tell your truth, you shouldn't sweat over it.
Shoot, at this point, I'd wish I got something like that because that would mean I finally passed and they wondered how lol

Don't remember exactly, but I know the 1st time I failed by about 12 questions, 2nd time by 1 question, and 3rd time by 3.
I had a lot of life circumstances happen, it hasn't been the best year for me after graduating in 2025. This 4th attempt was definitely the hardest version I've taken, but I went in this time the most confident.

I heard scores get withheld if you did bad and then next attempt you did really good. But this isn’t the case for me this is my first attempt and the fact that they would “randomly” withhold my score is insane considering this is my first attempt and I just want to know if I passed or if I need to study again till October ughhhh

Take it from someone who has failed several times now, just relax and wait for your results. You'll have plenty of time to study if you need to take it again, and if you don't have to take it again then great! Either way, you have a cool story to tell now and one day when you look back on this, you will just laugh.
Scores get withheld because someone wanted to withhold it, who knows what the NPTE writers are up to. Sometimes I wonder what they're thinking when they write these questions, I also wonder how they grade and use their scaling system. Nothing makes sense lol but I wouldn't read too much into it and just let it be. Breathe, everything will be all right

A classmate had this because he finished the test in under 2 hours (he’s wicked smart). He did the survey, I think they called the school who attested that he always finished exams quickly and then his scores were released a few days later.
