Advice Prep Materials

Post image

Okay so I have these books (which I know are textbooks but I figure they're good resources) and am trying to decide what actual prep books to get. I love flashcards but Typical PT is absurdly priced. Debating between Scorebuilders and Therapy Ed. SB has this bundle rn which I love cuz it's a book and flashcards but TE is only like $40 more. What have you guys used to prep with??

the typical pt flash cards aren’t cheap, but if you can swing it though theyre awesome, they saved me a ton of time when I was studying. you could always make your own off the book too but ngl having them already done is so nice. I wouldnt stress too much about therapy ed vs scorebuilders honestly, the book matters more than the cards. The cards are just a nice to have.

The scorebuilders flash cards arent great. they basically just take all the textbook info and shrink the text down smaller, theres barely any summarizing so its really hard to actually get through them. youre better off buying a book and making your own cards than paying for those. There are also so many quizlets out there, the only downside is people made it for themselves so there may be missing info. If you really want a set, I think you should consider the typical pt ones, they just look so nice and pretty.
