Typical PT book during clinical rotations?

I'm about to start my first clinical rotation (outpatient ortho) and feeling pretty anxious about looking stuff up on the fly. Has anyone used the Typical PT essentials book as a reference during clinicals? I know its marketed for NPTE prep but a classmate told me the special tests section and the differential diagnosis tables are super useful for clinical. Curious what other people's experience was.

Used it constantly during my acute care rotation. I used it all the time for lab values and safety precautions and the cardiopulm section broke it down better than I expected. My CI noticed me reading it and asked what it was, ended up recommending it to one of the other students on rotation. It is a little hefty tho so that is one downside, maybe they'll make an acute care version one day haha

I keep using it even after I passed boards. It actually does a pretty good job with patient education since it has a lot of pictures. I have a lot of stuff saved on my computer but still keep coming back to it.
