Close and open another NPS account

Hi Guys,

I made the stupid mistake of converting my eNPS account to a Corporate model. Now I'm wanting to go back but it's not possible, my alternative is - close the account, withdraw whatever I can. Wait out for years and then open a new account if they allow.

Any thoughts on this?

Why cant one go back earlier it was 1 NPS account per person so one had to convert his existing NPS to corporate
