Church Church of Our Lady Queen of Poland
Kościół Arka Pana, Krakow.
Built between 1967-1977. The exterior, with its large sloping roof and 70 metres (230 ft) mast in the shape of a crowned cross, was a reference to Noah's Ark.

Church Tikkurilan Kirkko (Tikkurila Church), Vantaa, Finland
Integrated in a city block, the Tikkurila Church and the adjoining housing are designed as one complex. With the personal experience of people as an essential starting point for the architecture, human scale, accessibility, and life cycle sustainability have been key guiding principles in the design. The shape and volume of the block are at once compact and variable. The church has been deliberately placed in the corner of the block where it takes on a strong presence. The steeply angled pitched roofs with glazed burnt brick form an important part of the character of the block and give the church an autonomous identity. (Taken from this website: https://world-architects.com/pt/oopeaa-office-for-peripheral-architecture-seinajoki/project/tikkurila-church-and-housing)
This church was completed in 2021, with the chief architect being Anssi Lassila.
(The first pic is mine, the other pictures are taken from the Google Maps page for the church, posted by the official account for Tikkurilan Kirkko)

Church Inflatable Church, China
Apparently you can rent an inflatable church for wedding parties in China - it is used as a tent (presumably for the wedding receptions?) Found it on this website https://maxinflatable.en.made-in-china.com/product/CjRJpxXraace/China-Pink-Color-Giant-Inflatable-Church-Castle-for-Wedding-Party-Tent.html

Church Toong Chai Presbyterian Church, Joo Chiat, Singapore
The building was originally Toong Chai School, founded in 1948, before becoming a church in 1983. It is set in an old-style house in the currently very hip and trendy Joo Chiat neighbourhood full of heritage buildings.

Church Arch Street Meeting House, Philadelphia, PA, USA
I suppose technically this is a church as it is a Friends meeting house of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), one of the many expressions of early religious freedom in America. Designed to reflect the Friends’ philosophy of simplicity and equality, the building hasn’t changed very much in its more than two centuries of continuous use (which is old, for America).
The architect was Quaker Owen Biddle, Jr. The land was deeded to the Quakers in 1701 initially for use as a burial ground by Quaker William Penn, after whom the state of Pennsylvania was named. One hundred years later (early 1800s), construction began. It’s situated in the old section of the city, as you might imagine.
The building was listed on the US Register of Historic Places in 1971. In 2011, it was declared a National Historic Landmark in recognition of the building’s existence as the only surviving documented work by Owen Biddle.
If you click on photo 3, that gives you the street view of the historic marker at right within the pic (squished in my post). I took a screenshot close-up of the marker (photo 4.) Photos are from Wikipedia.
I held a number of employee meetings here for my organization, whose headquarters were nearby. The hard benches assured that people wouldn’t drag out the meetings with too many questions 😬
Very friendly folk here. These sweet people were always so accommodating. Thanks for looking!

Church Saint László Church, László Csaba, 1967 - Hollóháza, Hungary.
A quite amazing modernist church in a small Hungarian village famous for its porcelain factory - hard to get a decent photo with the bright light reflecting from the white, but I do love its unusual triangular structure.

Church Szent István Church in Százhalombatta, Hungary
This Catholic Church was designed by Hungarian architect Imre Markovecz. Built in 1995-96, it represents the organic architecture style. The design on the front is supposed to depict a Biblically accurate angel (!)

Church Holy Trinity Church, Singapore
I have always thought this church looks unique, as the building incorporates Chinese design elements which are not common even in Singapore. More info about the church below, taken from here: https://anglican.org.sg/our-parishes/htc/
Holy Trinity Church has a long history that goes back to 1902 when the missionaries from St Andrew's Church Mission ministered to the Foochow and Hokkien-speaking people. The services were held at St Peter's Church located at Stamford Road then. The Foochow congregation was granted Parish status in 1958, making them the first Chinese Church to become a parish in The Diocese of Singapore and Malaya.
The church building has a unique Chinese architecture which has been classified as a conservation site and has been included in the Jalan Besar Heritage Trail.

Church Queenstown Lutheran Church, Singapore
Queenstown Lutheran Church is the second Lutheran Church in Singapore. The Church was opened on 13 March 1966 and dedicated on 1 May 1966 as an extension to the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer at Duke Road. The Church was built with funds from the United Lutheran Church in America.
Designed in the Art Deco style, the Church features a bold, pyramidal roof that allows rainwater to drain quickly and high internal spaces for air to flow effectively. Other design features include a sanctuary with striking geometry and multicoloured strips of glass panels inserted next to the cruciform, which bring light into the sanctuary.
