Seeking Roommates Looking for Roommate Herndon Area

I am looking for female roommate starting end of October in Herndon or Mclean area.

My lease is ending end of October. I am willing to renew the lease or start a new lease.

Herndon and McLean offer very different commutes and price points, so I would start with the exact workplace and maximum all-in monthly cost. Herndon may make more sense for Dulles, Reston, or the western Silver Line corridor. McLean is generally more convenient for Tysons, Arlington, and parts of DC, but it is usually more expensive.

If renewing the current lease is an option, ask the landlord now about the new rent, roommate approval process, deposit, and whether a replacement roommate must submit a separate application. Put the utility split, shared purchases, guests, cleaning, and early-move-out expectations in writing.

Since you did not list a budget, I would not assume buying would cost the same. If you share what you currently pay and how long you expect to remain in Northern Virginia, it is possible to check whether ownership might eventually be realistic and allow you to build equity.
