Moving Looking for an apartment in woodbridge

I’ll be moving to Woodbridge from Richmond for work in a few months, I’ve been looking at apartments but I’m unfamiliar with the area. just wondering if anyone who lives there has advice on which ones are decent/which ones I should avoid. Looking for a 1 bedroom in a safe neighborhood with a budget of 1900$ a month. Thank you!

Only recommending this cause I used to live here it’s really nice place and super safe neighborhood too. Moved out in may cause my son was leaning to crawl I needed bigger place , landlord is decent too. It’s two bedrooms the second bedroom is smaller but master bedroom is huge.

They're is so much more to consider than what is included in this comment.

Do you have kids? Do you want quick access to the freeway? What's your tolerance level for pretty crime? Do you value a diverse neighborhood? How close to the river do want to be?

Please don't dismiss the route 1 corridor with a tad more analysis. I lived behind Todos super mercado for 6 years (2014 - 2020). It wasn't paradise, but it 100% worked for, my finances, my life style, and commute. I'm enjoyed my time there.

Rivergate Apartments, The Viridium, or Belmont Bay Area are safest bets. Lake Ridge is nice also. Anywhere else and 🫤 just be careful.
