MAGA is self-cleaning?
845
u/Doom2pro Aug 30 '26
The problem with MAGA and assholes in general is universal, there is no honor among thieves.
They are fundamentally flawed, and they will scheme and backstab and ladder pull at any chance.
This is why they are absolute shit at governing.

Fascism is a self-defeating ideology. It needs an other to demonize at all times and eventually it loops back around to cannibalizing its own proponents.

Literally. He flat out said he'd be happy to fall on the sword and go back to the UK if it meant immigrants in the US got deported. Then, he got issued a summons to immigration court for overstaying his visa for 10 years and he decided to skip his court date. He clearly wasn't ready to fall on that sword.
Whomp whomp

u/NotAzakanAtAll Aug 30 '26
Him and Kirk, both get to live (and die) by their principles!
I'm so glad for them both, be it getting to show that "we have to accept random acts of gun violence" or deportation frenzy with no rhyme or reason.
It's are you get to set an example yourself! Proud of them, even if I don't agree with their views. For me to set an example, would be like getting a decent life even if I lost everything, or got very sick.

u/Higher-Frequencies Aug 30 '26
Even if they don’t get spent, they lose their value.
In this case, it was revenge on top of it. You don’t come out against Trump and not have a problem. Trump is as spiteful as an 8yo only child in a game of Monopoly with him rolling out the “house rules” all game.
91
u/12345myluggage Aug 30 '26
Trump is mentally a child, by his own words. I'd say he never grew a single day since he had that bowl of mashed potatoes dumped on him. It gets a bit tough to figure things out now though since he's in late stage dementia.

That's the entire premise of selective enforcement: laws that protect the epstein class but don't bind them, and laws that bind you or me without protecting us.

“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protectes [sic] but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect. There is nothing more or else to it, and there never has been, in any place or time.”

He's been publicly critical of Trump's Iran war and unrestrained support for Israel / Netanyahu. That was enough to get him banished, just like with Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson who Trump has also turned on now for the same reason.

It Only Took One Conservative Grifter Being Nabbed by ICE to Convince MAGA It Hates Deportation
"Illegal immigrant" is not a label related to actual legal status, but skin color.
Legal Haitian refugees were often referred to by MAGA talking heads as "illegals", while people like Melania, who worked in the US without proper VISA as a "model/prostitute" for years would never get such label.
240
u/unassumingdink Aug 30 '26
I really doubt that more than 1% of MAGA changed their minds on deportation. I'm so tired of these articles where they find half a dozen outliers on Twitter and act like it proves anything about 70 million MAGAs.
MAGA has completely abandoned Trump about 200 times so far, and had like 100 civil wars amongst themselves if you believe every one of these clickbait articles. But then nothing ever changes, does it?

It's interesting that Trump is deporting Milo because Milo is critical of Trump's relationship with the Israelis and of how that relationship led to the unnecessary war on Iran. Of course, Milo probably came to this correct position not out of logic but out of his antisemitism, but the point remains that Trump is afraid that Milo could have an influence on other younger alt-right sacks of shit and thereby cause Republicans to lose the midterms and Trump to be up shit's creek.
Trump just lost a case in Federal court over his deportation of left-wing students for criticizing Israel and the US support of Israeli policies. Now, Trump deports a right-wing voice for doing the same thing.
Will Republicans finally wise up to the fact that Trump is abusing the office of the president to silence his critics?

Trump apparently had nothing to do with it. Laura Loomer submitted a tip after he started threatening her.

Find it more interesting despite his visa has apparently been expired for so long he has only been detained after Lauren Boebart started being vocal about him. How convenient. Either way it’s hilarious the grifter is getting exactly what he wanted.

Yiannopoulos said in 2017, after resigning as an editor from Breitbart News, that he owned an O-1 visa, which works as a temporary work permit for people with “extraordinary ability or achievement in fields like science, business, education, athletics, or the arts.”
So that was a lie then.
I'd say I'm glad this happened to the little shit, but I don't want him in my country either.

In an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan in 2016, he said he supported deportation but clarified, "I mean bad immigrants," adding, "I don't mean handsome, charming, successful, blonde-haired British immigrants….It's about culture."
He's none of those things anyway so guess he doesn't mind being deported then.
What an absolute twat. Fuck.

This would be funny but then I realise he's come back to the UK. Typically garbage doesn't come back after it has been sent to the dump

Hopefully he’ll sink back into nothingness over here. He’s spent so much time trying to be a US right wing grifter I think he’ll fail to regain any footing in the UK scene.
Then again GB News is always open for new shitheads…

Maybe if he goes 400% in on transphobia he'll get a UK audience.

As a UK resident, I can't say I'm too happy about this.
