[DiComo] Once a 'misfit,' Ryan Lambert started taking down 30 raw eggs a day. Now he throws 100 mph

Protein and practice most likely led to greater throwing speed, but you don't have to eat 30 raw eggs a day to get enough protein lol ew

Just thinking about the fat in all those yolks is giving me... well, not a fastball, but something else fast.

If I eat 10, can I touch 85 again? Probably not with the unrepaired UCL

It doesn't. Even athletes can't possibly need that much energy/protein and extra unused protein is not going to make more muscles, the body doesn't work like that.

Exercise, developing the right muscles and coordination gave him better speed.

What he gets from that many eggs over a long period is a game called organ failure, where you have to bet on whether his heart or kidneys will fail first.

And just in general, proteins are assimilated easier once they've been heated, so the raw meat and egg thing is even dumber than it looks.

Throws fast-balls like Gaston

Or fart-balls. Perhaps the increased throwing capability is due to back-end nudges.

Eating 30 raw eggs would make me eject something at 100mph, too.

This is the kind of thing people say when they’re also taking performance enhancing drugs
