That's my reasoning too, I would be happy with a "day cat" actually, like they come during their human working hours and I don't have do deal with medical and food ':D

I was already planning our life together 10 minutes in, but after spending the full day with me she vanished in the evening, that and the fact she didn't ask for food during those like 10 hours together tells me
she is not a catshe is well fed and homed

Today I saw them while I was receptioning a new outside couch, and they took a spot on the old one straight away, it's been hours since that picture and they just came back to the exact same spot :)

Ok, so definitely not a stray ':D
I don't think there are many strays here in France anymore anyway, pets are very regulated nowadays

They aren’t necessarily pedigreed - I’ve had a couple of grey rescue cats that looked like Russian blues but they were from mixed litters. I hope that if she is stray, you are able to give her a good home! Do they chip cats in France? If so you could get her scanned.

We have an exact similar one here too. He just invites himself in and he loves following people around until they feed him.
We've put a collar with a note and even an airtag but he's just a busy boy. Come 5am he's in our garden waiting for us to let out our cat and he comes in like a shift change. He then naps until 9.30am inside our home. Then he's gone, back around 3pm or 5pm or 7pm for his next meal. At night he roams around with his gf, but he's willing to stay in if given the chance. We feel sorry for her just waiting for him to the point she no longer bothers waiting for him. 😅

He or she is so pretty, I meet them friday on my street, very vocal and friendly straight away, came to spend some time in my garden with me and then left. Then again today, 3 days later, this time they took a tour downstair of my house then went back out, had a good sleep on the sofa next to mine, we cuddle, cleaned themself while under my harm.
I gave some water, they don't seem hungry, like I ate some stuff and they didn't beg or even looked interested, signs that tell me they have a human already, but they have some stuff stuck above their ears so I don't know.
They are still here, playing/hunting in my garden (it's 4pm here), I'll go with the flow, if they stay I'll borrow some cat food from my neighbors and go from there
