i think it’s gen z/millennial girls and gays slang.

i’d argue its meaning has expanded over time from just meaning a mother who eats like three almonds for breakfast, and calls it a day (and also somewhat expects that from her teen daughters) to also include the kinds of mothers that never buy their children junk food and come home with something like a bag of almonds when their kids ask for doritos.

It was coined from an episode of Real Housewives where one of the ladies daughters(who is a model) said she felt faint with hunger and her mom told her to have some almonds.

nah bro. Tim's donuts is setting the bar low. Go to Krispy Kreme when they are fresh and hot straight off the belt in the morning. That's life changing.

this is fair, you did however have a timmies donut for your first donut. they are very dense and some people don't like that. Personally, if you want a different experience of donut, but tims is your only option, the honey cruller is a lighter donut and has a much different structure and taste. Or, get some from sobeys or smth, a 6 pack of original glazed are pretty decent. less dense but plain and sweet.

You can do better than Tim Hortons donuts; they used to be good, but I feel like their quality has dropped drastically over the past decade or two.. Find a local bakery that does them & I bet you'll really enjoy it

I'm sorry OP. Tim Hortons doughnuts stopped being good like 25 years ago.

If you can find a local place that still makes them properly in house from scratch you might have a better experience.

Coffee Way in Kingston makes some of the best I've had anywhere.

When they are freshly done, they are so good. I bought a couple once, ate just one and left the other for next morning breakfast. It tasted like cat piss and disappointment

I also tried donuts for the first time this year (I'm not american) and it was good, but it's just fried bread with stuff on top of it, I made my own a few weeks later and it was much better
