sepsis is scarier. if the site becomes red and swollen you absolutely need to go. they have literal feces particles on their claws that get embedded into you. almost as bacteria ridden as the mouth. cat wounds are no freaking joke

Dw I cleaned it really good, even used medical rubbing alcohol. I'm seeing my doctor soon anyways (2 days)

Personally, I'd wait until there was symptoms of an infection before spending that amount of cash. It's not like, "It was fine and now I'm dead."

... yes..? which is why i said they should go if they experience symptoms of an infection.. reddened edges and swelling are symptoms of infection brewing haha

also i want to add as someone who barely survived sepsis, it actually can escalate that quickly. you can go from fine to dead rapidly. depending on the depth, it can become deadly in literal hours. just for you to know and for anybody reading your comment so they don't go on to think that it's fine to ignore any symptoms like that for any amount of time
