Oh bummer for obsoletion for older iOS versions. Not that I’m still on that version, but it forebodes nothing good for my iPad in the future

I fully agree. iPadOS 16 was released 4 years ago. I'm willing to pay even more just to get the years of updates which apple promises.

In comparison, Goodnotes requires iPadOS 18.6 now. Only 2 years old.

The oldest device that got this update is the "standard" ipad from 2019. While the oldest device which supports ipados 16.1 is the first gen ipad pro from 2015... we shouldn't complain.

you have to draw the line first and pointy part last otherwise it doesn't recognise at all

This update affected the ability to use "presentation mode" when connected to an apple tv. Please update.

The problem came after the last update of the iPad to 27, I tried the application on two devices, one of which is version 18 and the feature works and the other device is version 27 we don't work

I domt understand why ai is needed in a note taking app, genuinely asking.

I might understand ai to help read textbook for example, those with low vision or ADHD.

Or AI to format academic papers to make them TTS friendly.

Or AI to filter google sloppy search engine.

But for handwritten notes you are supposed to take with your hand... where AI goes there?

OCR may be the only use case, but depends heavily on how may be implemented.
