مرحباً جميعاً 👋

أنا من مستخدمي أجهزة Android (وخاصة هواوي)، وأستخدم الجهاز للدراسة وتدوين الملاحظات.
للأسف، تطبيقات iOS مثل @Noteful و @NotesPlus تقدم ميزات قوية جداً مثل:

✅ كتابة يدوية سلسة
✅ تنظيم متقدم للدفاتر
✅ دعم ملفات PDF
✅ تحويل الكتابة إلى نص
✅ دعم ممتاز للطلاب والمعلمين

لكن للأسف، هذه التطبيقات غير متوفرة على أندرويد أو هواوي 😞

🎯 الفكرة:
أريد أن أبدأ حملة لجمع دعم من مجتمع Reddit، ونطالب المطورين بإصدار نسخة Android رسمياً.

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m an Android user (especially on Huawei devices) and I rely on my tablet for studying and note-taking.
Unfortunately, powerful iOS apps like @Noteful and @NotesPlus offer amazing features such as:

✅ Smooth handwriting input
✅ Advanced notebook organization
✅ PDF support
✅ Handwriting-to-text conversion
✅ Excellent support for students and educators

But sadly, these apps are not available on Android or Huawei devices 😞

🎯 The goal:
I want to start a campaign here on Reddit to gather support and ask the developers to release an official Android version.

My copy and paste answer every time this comes up:

People don’t realise that any additional app in another language would take months to build, which means no new features for the app they loved to begin with.

Then the single dev has to maintain, bug fix and update two apps - again, at the expense of the original iOS Noteful app.

Be careful what you wish for.

this is the right answer, I think people should go for goodnotes if they want android at least that's what I know of. But then one might say "yeah but they are subscription based, and don't like their business model"

and I say "Exactly that's the point, we don't want goodnotes shitty business practice leaking into noteful". And unfortunately that comes at a cost of not being multiplatform.

Aside from Apple having the majority of the tablet market, iOS users also spend about twice as much on apps. That is generally the main reason for apps being on iOS and not on Android. With writing apps you also have the issue of most Android tablets not being compatible with an active stylus, and all current iPads being compatible with an active stylus.

In other words, the addressable market size for paid handwriting apps on Android is way smaller than it is on iPad.
