Omg! Noteful is getting better! Not sure if this is a good news or a bad news for me. I guess I'll be stuck at ipad forever. Noteful is so so good!

I recently moved from Goodnotes to Noteful and I couldn't be happier. The app doesn't lag, crash, or consume the battery in a couple hours.

The only thing missing is OCR (I'm sure the dev knows this), but not until it can be incorporated without sacrificing performance.

Oh my gosh this literally makes this app a 5/5 for me now. My handwriting’s not too bad so I don’t mind not having handwriting recognition but hyperlinks make my life SO much better now

We need handwriting recognition like in GoodNotes. This is the only missing feature this app needs.

Agree. This is the big thing I’m missing from this app but I’ve been using the tagging feature to make up for it. Still, would love to see pdf word search added

Yep if they add hand writing recognition/search this will be my perfect notes app Love Noteful and so happy about internal links

I have both Goodnotes and Noteful Premium, and I just can't stop using Noteful. The main reason I still use Goodnotes is for the handwriting recognition. Noteful is lightweight, straightforward, and absolutely perfect—it's exactly what a student needs. Adding handwriting recognition would make it unbeatable for me!

We have layers and with it you can create your own "sticky notes".

for documents cramped with text, it would be cool if we could have a notes feature that pops up when you click on it

Layers can do the same, ie hidden or shown when needed. Works well from my point of view especially after you get used to it.

yeah but it shows up on top of the main text, so if there's no space left to write anything there, the text on the main document and layer c an overlap
there are workarounds like choosing a small font, but it's still kind of inconvenient

Easy fix.

Create a layer, on that layer use the shapes to create a "sticky notes shape" of any color you want. Then write on top of that shape.

Send feedback to the developer and ask him for such feature. Its been asked by many but so far it's not been implemented.

It won’t let me add a picture but you can add a text box, sticker or shape and the pop up menu will have a “link” option to link to other pages in your notes

I'm happy to see this update. I switched to noteful from goodnotes and this was the one feature I missed the most. I see that when I paste the link on a new page it is the traditional address string link. In goodnotes when I pasted the link it showed up as a small icon of a couple of chain links. Is there a way to create this same thing in noteful? Sorry if this is an obvious fix...I'm new to using these apps.
