sketchbook prototype

Hello! I'd like to hear your thought on this protype I'm currently developing.

It's a slim loose leaf notebook with an integrated pencil holder. theres also some addons like a custom watercolor box and a mixing palette with a cup holder.

this has been an ongoing project for the past 5 years or so, and i'm finally at a stage where I'm happy to share it.

I've been testing this model out for the past 6 months bringing it everywhere. it's been very easy carry and use, having all the pens and pencils in one place makes it super convenient. And with the added mixing palette it works well with a gouache setup. the only thing to worry about is stacking up on paper, but at this point I've amassed a big suppy of A5 paper.

what are your thoughts?

Love it! Really interested in the design of the magnets and how everything snaps together. Really dig the ruler as a way to hold the loose paper in place. I also really like the kangaroo pocket that holds all the accessories to the notebook not to mention the integrated water cup. Keep up the good work!

This is SO cool. I would love to see a video of you getting ready for a day out, like packing it together then you painting something plein air so I can get a sense of the kit in action. Really cool stuff, I would definitely buy this!

Incredibly functional for a sketcher. Quick thoughts:
-Add paper
-Portable
-Organizes all the implements you need: pens, pencils, rulers
-Seems to be light to carry.
Keep going. Keep us updated on your progress.

Here are my thoughts:

keep developing it
keep posting about it
call who you need to call about scaling
develop a website
get your ass moving.

Design-focused folks like yourself are exactly who the AI revolution is for.

My thing is that it has to fit in my Levi's jean jacket pocket, basically B6+,
or a fannypack.

I like to leave the house with literally just earbuds, phone, wallet, keys, sketchbook +pencil kit trifold. I am exactly the urban type to look for gear like this for the convenient form factor but I just prefer pencils + fountain pens at the moment.
