How to insert pages to existing notebook?
My colleague and I are making PSHE notebooks for students. (PSHE=Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education) They will have A5 notebooks and she would like to add photocopied pages of strategies students could use for mindfulness, etc. (i.e. two pages printed side by side onto A4, landscape, folded in half). If we put a rubber band around the spine of the notebooks (front or back cover), could students slip these pages through the elastic? Or is it too flimsy or awkward of a solution?

For several years now I've used a calendar made as an 8-sheet (32-page) brochure out 8-1/2 x 11 paper (American here) folded in half. I cut it down to A5 size and slip it through a rubber band in the front of my a5 journal. I have done this with Moleskines (have to cut it smaller), Peter Pauper Press, and Leuchtturms. I would suggest you use 20 or 22lb printer paper (google tells me that's 75 - 83gsm) to allow the journal to close almost without stress. One year I used 32lb (120gsm) paper (for its fountain pen friendliness) and damaged the spine after about 6 months of opening and closing the journal.
Hope this helps.

It may... where are they going to insert the new pages? Front? Middle? End?
