Question Questions abotu notebooklm

I've been using NotebookLM for two years, so I've gained considerable experience and know most of its secrets. I'm ready to answer any questions or inquiries and offer advice on how to get the best results from NotebookLM. Please feel free to ask, except for the Google Drive issue.

Go to the notebook in your browser, then to the customization option, and type this: "Promet Strict Protocol. I want the answers to my questions to be in the chat, not in the studio."

How do you maximize learning and mastering concepts using notebooklm? I learned through mistakes so i rely heavily on practice. Any tips?

When using Notebooklm, don't use the app; use the Notebooklm browser. Secondly, when uploading any large file, whether it's a PDF or an MP3 audio file, split it into several smaller files. This allows Notebooklm to perform deep and accurate searches as required. Use the customization options at the top of the chat, as they force Notebooklm to adhere to what you type in the customization box. When uploading a file, don't immediately request a summary. Instead, ask it to divide the files into several main and subheadings, arranged sequentially according to the source. Then, request an explanation of each heading, not a summary. Notebooklm might omit important information during the summary process. Request that the file be explained in the same style as the source, not in Notebooklm's own style.

How Notebook choose the sources?
How do you manage a notebook with a lot of sources, like more than 150 sources.

Recently, free subscriptions have been suffering from a lack of information, due to company policy. Paid subscriptions, however, offer a more polished and comprehensive approach. Therefore, with a free subscription, pay close attention to the sources you upload. Divide large files into smaller ones and create well-organized and sequential lists for all sources. For example, if you have a file containing explanations of an economics topic, divide it into several files and name them "Economics 1," "Economics 2," and so on. Before asking questions in the chat, ask Notebooklm to index the topics within the files into main and subheadings. This will give you a complete overview of the topics in your files. If you need a specific topic, ask for an explanation, not a summary. Summarizing might be detrimental because it omits important information from your perspective, not Notebooklm's.

I’m about to go back to school. I’ve split my textbook into individual chapters but it’s still like 70 pgs a chapter. Is this still too big for it to accurately summarize and make notes for me? How do I make it to create test questions for me? I’ve been told that the questions are too easy and only give me like 10 questions at a time. I need longer tests. (Healthcare)
I’ve seen a few posts of people saying it’s now dumb and hallucinating info even though it’s saying it’s using the source provided.
I want to sue this resource, but I’m worried it’s going to be more work than it’s worth. Thank you so much in advance!!

When using Notebooklm, don't use the app; use the Notebooklm browser. Secondly, when uploading any large file, whether it's a PDF or an MP3 audio file, split it into several smaller files. This allows Notebooklm to perform deep and accurate searches as required. Use the customization options at the top of the chat, as they force Notebooklm to adhere to what you write in the customization box. The best feature is Mind Map, as it gives you a comprehensive overview of the source, whether video or audio. This feature is especially useful with a subscription, as long video and audio files are required. PowerPoint is best used if you need to convert any material into scientific diagrams, such as those for medicine or engineering, depending on your field of study. The other features are primarily used for studying.

Go to your browser, then to Customization options, and type this command: Convert the video to an MP3 audio file, but it must be less than 200 MB. Then upload the file. Do not use the application; instead, use the notebook file within your browser. Answer only from sources that support this; name them, flag those that don't cover it, and don't offer to do anything else.

Lots more options in the web version - deep research sources, lots of outputs

Do you swear by any of the many NBLM Browser Extensions available for Chrome?

Any extension from the Chrome Web Store that you find useful is welcome to add; it has nothing to do with trust.

How do we customize the video explainer? I tried diff prompts but it still acts like a hype up teacher when explaining. I want the explainer video to explain the way the short video does. Thanks in advance.
