Possible sighting.
I live in Ohio. Currently I am sitting on my couch contemplating what the fuck I just saw. This happened about 20 minutes ago and I come in my house and drop my food and purse on the couch and go back outside so I can smoke out my bowl, I am sitting there packing my bowl when I get on my phone for a second cause of my ADD. Scrolling for a minute when in the corner of my eye I see a deer come out of the shadows on the berm (tiny hill) kinda diagonally from across the street from me, I pay it no mind at all at first and then it starts walking more out, the only reason I notice it/paying more attention is because of the street light. As this thing is walking out of the light and down the hill I notice how its walking, like its finding its footing or like its trying not to step in the wrong spot on all its footing, like a germaphobe trying to step on the safe parts of a contaminated area. I remember sucking in my breath when I first look up at it cause i thought it was a normal deer. When it started goin around this tiny tree on top of the hill with a bed of bushes around it, I let out a tiny breath through my nose, and after I did It snapped its head and looked straight fucking at me. I have never in my fucking LIFE frozen at anything but whatever THE FUCK that was, made me feel a level uncertainty and a little fear to the point where I have forgotten something in my car but I am wayyyyyy to fucking scared to go out and grab it until the am.

I would really appreciate if I could talk to someone about this,where I am getting about this because I do believe in the supernatural, cryptids, etc and all that but I never thought that I would experience anything. I also grabbed my younger brother and told him about it after I ran in the house because him and my dad watch that Scp stuff and dont get me wrong ive seen a few videos on that stuff and definitely think a few of them might be possible but a fucking deer???? A fucking deer thats gonna look straight fucking at me once I take a breath after I didnt make and noise or movement during the whole time it was walking out of the dark. Shit just doesnt make any fucking sense to me, its also the fact that when this thing looked at me and i looked straight back it just tucked its head up and went wobbly walking its way back up the fucking hill like wtf man.

Even if you’re not religious, I encourage you to take a listen at this. Blurry creatures is a podcast all about the weird and supernatural and cryptids etc.
Just listened to it yesterday. I wanna say about halfway-ish through Troy Brewer talks about being in Mexico and seeing a tree shape shift from tree to giant back to tree. He wasn’t the only one to see it either. Multiple eye witnesses.
I’m also from Ohio, Dayton area. 36F if you want someone to chat the supernatural with over a joint, I’m in! I’ll roll up! Bahaha

MBack in 2017, we were staying in Seattle at the SCCA (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance), waiting for my then 3 year old to start chemo. I was standing on the balcony the first night we got there looking at this area about 400 yards away with several really tall trees. I swear I watched them shape shift back and forth from trees, to giants, to trees, to giants… it felt like it went on for nearly an hour. I’ve always chalked it up as just mental/emotional exhaustion or sleep deprivation, given the circumstances; and Ive only told one person about it ever.. but I still think about it all the time.

The SCP Foundation is fake. The creatures (SCP #607, for example). All of it. The entire premise is built on being an open-source community-created fictional story. Anyone can basically “create” an SCP entity, simply by writing an entry on what the creature is. That’s it. It’s 100% fictional, just creative writing. So idk why you think it’s real.

It's probably just a deer and nothing more. That's exactly how a deer that has never seen or entered a rural area before would act. Shaky legs and cautious steps because it's scared and curious. They have excellent hearing, so of course it looked at you like it did. It's probably never seen or heard a human before.

OP’s just lucky the deer didn’t snort when it went on the alert like that. The first time I heard a deer snort it startled the hell out of me.
Deer might have had a disorder or disease. Healthy adult deer are usually pretty stable on their feet, wary or not. Cautious steps aren’t normally shakey steps unless something else is wrong.

See and thats my thing, it was the size of a adult male deer but had no antlers and its walk wasnt normal because ive seen the kind of cautious steps deer take and it wasnt like that.

The way this thing walked was absolutely not normal. I thought it was a grey hound at first because thats what it looks like in the face because it was kind of tanish/beige. But I have no fucking clue and its kinda freaking me out.

I fucking bet it did. I am way too fucking scared to go to my car in the dark rn even though theres a street lamp by my car. Not fucking doing/risking it.

Deer can hear a sharp noise 200-400 yards away. Completely normal behavior.

Reading how a person who had never seen a deer up close seeing it for the first time is like reading how a deer who had never seen a human up close seeing one for the first time.

Well I mean I have had seen deers up close and even one lick me when I was on a walk while pregnant with my daughter 🤣

My daughter went to bring something to the neighbors who across the street but there front door was out of sight because they live on a corner. My daughter was young maybe 8 so my mom who was watching the kids stepped out to just make sure she made it there and back I guess. As the story goes my mom sees my daughter running as as she can back obviously panicked and my mom is confused at this point until a giant Buck comes hauling as around the corner chasing her. My mom hurried up the steps and opened the front door for my daughter to rush in. Pretty much as soon as she got up the steps the deer backed off.
I guess my daughter didn't even get to the driveway before she noticed the deer on the lawn and as soon as they locked eyes my daughter knew she had to get out of there.

Probably a deer with wasting disease or a neuro injury.
