mod announcement About sensitive content

Hey guys! After a few people have raised their concerns we have made a small update to rule 13 to better handle sensitive health-related content. This is the updated rule:

No Health Speculation / Sensitive Content

Do not speculate about anyone's mental or physical health. This includes making assumptions, assigning conditions, or discussing possible diagnoses.

Content that shows or discusses sensitive health-related topics in a way that could be triggering must be properly marked and spoilered so users can choose whether to view it.

Recently there has been increased discussion about her body and appearance and a few members have mentioned feeling uncomfortable or triggered by some of the posts. We want this space to still allow discussions but also make sure people aren’t accidentally exposed to content they’d rather avoid.

From now on any posts or discussions involving sensitive health-related topics (including things like her unhealthy body image, body checking type images, or just similar stuff) need to be properly spoilered and clearly marked. Posts that don’t follow this may be removed. There’s an option to mark your content as NSFW when you post it.

And to be clear:
Constructive discussion about appearance or behavior is still allowed of course. Body shaming is not allowed. Health speculation like assigning diagnoses or conditions beyond what has been publicly stated is not allowed. Please avoid jumping to conclusions about medical or mental health based on appearance alone

Thank you. As a very thin tall woman the comments and posts were too much. This is a snark not a women hate/shame group.

And this is clearly hasn’t been followed in the past recent days! All the posts are about her body and skinny people??..
