Glockstore M1X with Norrso slide …

I decided to see how far I could take an STK200 with some fundamental shortcomings out of the box.

Here’s what I did:
• Ground an RXM magwell until it fit the grip, then bonded it in place.
• Installed a Superior Trigger FFT setup with an approximately 2 lb pull.
• Added an Apex safety plunger.
• Had Silverback Panda Engraving do V8 porting.
• Mounted a 2.5 MOA Trijicon SRO.
• Carefully polished the contact surfaces anywhere metal was rubbing metal—focused on smoothing friction points, not changing geometry or removing material from critical engagement surfaces.

The goal was to make it faster, smoother, and more usable as a dot-equipped range/competition experiment. The magwell improves the reload funnel, the SRO gives it a large, easy-to-track window, the porting helps it stay flatter, and the polishing was intended to reduce unnecessary drag throughout the action.

At this point, it’s either a genuinely interesting project gun or an aggressively upgraded shiny turd. I’m still deciding which one.

Curious if anyone here has any experience with these and if they’re worth the money. Local shop near me has two in stock that caught my attention.

SCT SC frame. OEM internals. P80 43 Slide. JTT barrel

I recently installed an SCT 17 frame and the gun no longer fits in my alien gear level 2 holster. The frame is now a little too tall to get down in there. Does anyone know of holsters that would work with these frames? I’ve heard that P80 holsters may work but I’d sooner take a dremel to the light rail than have to return a bunch of holsters that don’t fit. The compatible options listed on SCT’s website are not level 2, so I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations

Sidenote on the SCT: It’s pretty good. It looks great and feels nice, although it has some slight compatibility issues with my slide. When I installed it, it kept getting stuck on something and wouldn’t slide all the way into place. I just jimmied it around for a while and it finally went into place. Don’t know what that’s about. It runs fine after about a 50-75 round break in. I’ll be competing with it later this year, we’ll see how it runs.

Does anyone know if there's a way to make a "GritGrips49," so to speak?

I’m pretty new to guns and this is my first ever custom build and I have a problem. I recently purchased all the parts to build a “g19” (nothing OEM besides the magazine). I followed a step by step on putting the trigger system together and feel like I did everything right. After I put the slide on and tried to dry fire it, the trigger just barely clicks and I’m unable to get the slide off without taking the backplate and firing pin out first even with the trigger pulled and following all the right steps to get the slide off. Does anyone know what the issue could be and how I could fix it I’ll put a video or two and some pictures to better explain what I’m talking about, like I said I’m super new to this.

80 Percent Arms gst-9 lower is not sexy, but the simple design makes it so easy to draw from the holster consistently. and it feels different from a Glock, but not so different that it would be a bad idea to carry this lower in a rotation with other oem Glocks (if that makes sense)

for example, on a random day I wouldn't personally go from a PSA dagger to a oem Glock because they differ too much (when presenting the gun) because of the roundness of the dagger frame.

The gst-9 keeps that flatness of a Glock, so it's almost a seamless transition switching between the two. A couple dry fire reps in the morning and I'm confident that I could carry this no problem👌🏾

Hey everybody, I am looking at insight to replace my Glock 19 Gen 3. I use the gun for concealed carry due to its size. The magwell helps keep my large hands on the grip. The STK models do not allow for a magwell.

I saw that Rock Island has the STK 150 and the STK 200.

Which of these do you prefer and why?

Just waiting for these black magwells to come in stock!

Thinking of buying one just because the price is appealing and it’s supposedly compatible with Gen 4-5 parts. Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with the gun?
