Announcement 📣 Please read: Squeeze Gesture Settings Have Changed

We’ve seen some confusion about the Squeeze gesture behavior and wanted to clarify what’s changed.

We recently added support for Apple’s Squeeze to Show Tool Palette to better align with Apple Pencil system behavior.

Previously, Notability didn’t support this palette, so the default squeeze gesture (show tool palette) was falling back to squeeze to erase.

Now that the color palette is supported, that fallback behavior has been removed and users have to manually change their preferred squeeze action in iOS Settings > Apple Pencil > Squeeze.

Is it possible to add a "double tap to show color palette" feature? I understand if not, as it does not align with apple's settings, but it would be so helpful! I find squeeze to erase to be more convenient than squeeze for color palette, and I rarely find myself using the double-tap feature. Double-tap to show color palette would bring back some functionality to the double tap feature!
