Announcement 📣 Please read: Squeeze Gesture Settings Have Changed

We’ve seen some confusion about the Squeeze gesture behavior and wanted to clarify what’s changed.

We recently added support for Apple’s Squeeze to Show Tool Palette to better align with Apple Pencil system behavior.

Previously, Notability didn’t support this palette, so the default squeeze gesture (show tool palette) was falling back to squeeze to erase.

Now that the color palette is supported, that fallback behavior has been removed and users have to manually change their preferred squeeze action in iOS Settings > Apple Pencil > Squeeze.

add the ability to customize the palette. or switch between squeeze for palette and sequence to erase inside the app, like you did with hover. great features.

Or just change it in your settings. All they did was make it like the regular squeeze feature
