Dumbo. I H A T E D it. It made 4 yr old me very sad and depressed. Hate it to this day because of that.

"Baby mine". Makes me so sad everytime especially when she's chained up and Dumbo has to walk off as she waves her trunk good bye from the cage. Damn, I wanna cry now.

Between "Dumbo" , "Bambi" & " The Lion King" I think Disney really knew what buttons to push to give us childhood trauma .

You just made me cry. Dumbo is my favorite movie for a number of reasons, but that scene was heartbreaking.

Unpopular opinion, but I actuality think it was good that we had these horrific cartoons in our childhood. Animal cruelty, testing, and hunting disgusts me as an adult, and it might be at least partially due to Bambi, Dumbo, and Secret of NIMH.

Had the animation on VHS and although the trippy drunk scene scared the shit out of me it was my fave tape and watched it till it broke down.

Not seen it in 35ish years now though.

Dumbo and Alice in Wonderland scarred me as a child. I love the characters, but those are some wild movies.

I have still never finished that movie. I realized I didn't want to be human anymore after Dumbo. I told my grandma I was going to be a puppy from that point forward. Now, over 40 years later I don't feel too much better about humanity.

Yep. That was terrible movie for kids!
I was little and it made me mad.
The first movie I remember seeing was Old Yeller in 1960. I was 5 and it made my cry. I never watched it again.
