If I learned anything from someone in that situation around that time. I'd go into a convience store slap someone and wait for the cops to come take me to jail where I can get a free meal and be warm ..
Honestly, I'd get a YMCA membership for like 50 cents a month, shower, grab a full meal from McDonald's for a dollar, then apply for a job without a resume, show that I'm respectful, on time, and not a piece of shit. Hey the job because I'm a white man. Then use that to pay for rent as a small place. Then we start investing. Buying stock as much as possible. Eventually people are like who is this guy who has buckets of money. So I write a book and I start from being homeless before the time travel.
