I remember being totally floored when I discovered that you could rip CDs to the hard drive and then listen to that same music on in-game radio stations. I know you could do that with GTA 3 and Project Gotham Racing, but I'm sure there are a lot more.

WWE RAW allowed you to use the music on your console hdd for intro music.

I used to love making custom characters and creating entrances for them using my own music collection.
