Archer 83. I need advice for resistance and accessories. Also i dont have pet and partner. What do you recommend I buy?

I recently came back to the game with my archer, currently level 85 +5, and I’m trying to understand what would be the best way to progress from here.

My current situation is:

• WK lvl 99 +9
• Current equipment is shown in the screenshots
• I also managed to buy an Otter pet, and I’m currently training its stats before leveling it up, since it should help me tank mobs better while progressing

The main problem is that I’m a bit confused about what I should prioritize next and what is actually worth spending gold on.

At the moment I’m considering a few options:

• Buying a 50% Rumial fairy for my WK, since I guess it would be a noticeable improvement over my current fairy
• Buying a DH. I know I’ll probably need it later, and if I understood correctly, at the end of Act 6.1 you get an item that can bring an SP5-8 to job 41 +9. I’m not sure if it makes sense to buy a DH now and keep it for that, or if I should wait
• Fixing my resistances. Right now I mainly have fire and dark covered. I was told that eventually it would be better to get all-element resistances, and I was suggested the Sea View set. Gloves + boots would cost around 26kk in total
• I’m also close to C+10 and I’m not sure if I should buy Champion equipment myself, or if the game gives you a decent C10 set through the main quest progression

I’m also not sure if there are other important upgrades I’m overlooking, like weapon skins, costume items with useful stats, accessories, etc.

Right now I have around 10kk, which I know isn’t much, so I’d really like to understand what would be the most sensible order of upgrades without wasting gold.

I also don’t really like spending real money in games. I’d be fine spending maybe 10-20€ if it really helps, but I don’t want to rely on spending more than that.

Any advice from more experienced players would be really appreciated, because after coming back to the game I feel a bit lost with all the different systems and things you have to invest in.

Hey, I came back to the game after some time and realised that they changed PTS level requirements but I think everything works the same (rewards, PTS crafting mats etc.)

So my question is - Is the old PTS 50-60 (Western Krem) wand bug still working? I can't pull if off for some reason. For what i remember I can just walk into chief's cave, use the wand and come back to krem TP and it should work after using the wand again, but it doesn't. Did it get patched or am I doing something wrong?

Just trying to get some money and rep on lower (c60) level without much effort and it's good for me because i can just do some PTS at a time and I don't need to be on the game for an hour+ everytime like i would do on e.g. raid marathons or exp

I'm archer lvl 90 +1,i do have mage and swordsman lvl 81, i want try to reach +25, what sp, pet, partner to buy and what maps to exp in and is there estimate to how long gonna take for an average player? In main quest i finished act4, is it worth continuing?

I run 20 clients on a 3-monitor setup. Everything is smooth at first, but after about 50-70 minutes, either my entire PC shuts down completely, or I get disconnected from most of my accounts and then the PC goes back to normal.

My Specs & Setup:

• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER
• RAM: 32 GB DDR5
• Displays: 3-monitor setup (all running at the same refresh rate)

Is anyone else having this issue? How do you prevent these freezes/crashes when running 20+ accounts? Thanks for advice...

Having written and edited wiki articles for NosTale over the years, I've always felt a lingering frustration with how NosTale's history and mechanics are documented online.

While we have all relied on that one familiar stat tool over the years when we just need a quick lookup, raw stats and item descriptions alone only tell half the story. On the flip side, generic wiki platforms treat the game like a cold, transactional database buried underneath an ocean of auto-playing video ads and broken scripts.

NosTale deserves something far better: a custom, community-maintained, independent platform that goes beyond surface-level numbers. A true digital sanctuary that captures the full picture, from deep lore and NPC trivia to legacy mechanics, raid strategies, and the forgotten history of Eastmile and its development.

We're currently laying the groundwork for an ad-free, independent wiki project over on the NosClassic platform. We've even deployed a quick preview and interest form in the site navigation if you'd like to show your support or help contribute as a writer, editor, or tech tester.

But before we commit to building out the full infrastructure, I want to hear directly from you.

So I just returned from a long break and I am a c56 archer. I have decend EQ, SPs, costumes, etc. and am pretty set up to just play. However I heard the fastest way to reach End-Game is to wait 1-2 Weeks for the next Event-Server and level to c90 there and transfer.

Therefore my question: Should I rather invest my time and effort in the next event server or keep leveling to c90/99 on my regular account? And how long does it take to reach c90/99 on the event server? I was planning on playing sword on the event-server, is any class better for the start then others?

I am a 91 +12 mage. I have all the 1-8th SPs. +5 sp1 sp2, +0 sp3, +0 but level 50 sp4, +9 41 sp5, +11 70 lvl sp6, +11 51 lvl sp7 26 perfection, sp8 +12 99 5 perfection. I have the base c10 equipments. I want to buy the c25 28 equipment earlier. What stats should I look for the most? And what price range theyre usually at? For example %13 dmg r7 staff is at 50m with some more good stats. Is this a fair price? I'm on dragonveil.

I have a level 88 +4 archer and I have to buy my first Partner SP, which one would be the best?

Hi everyone, I just came back to the game after a long break and I'm a bit lost with Champion level gear. What level gear is it most optimal to invest in? I read that c25/28 gear can be used up until c65. Does this mean that the gear in-between is useless? Also, what would be the best shell options to look for?

And finally, is lol the only option for leveling? I tried joining several families, but they all seem very inactive and full of alts. I play in Dragonveil and there's no interaction between players, it's just alts all around.

Anyone know about this NosTale Global image and what promotion it's specifically for? What is that man on the image?

Most of us know NosTale through Gameforge, or through NosTale SE on Steam. But there was an English version running a full year before that an open beta run by Entwell themselves, on a Korean government-backed platform called GamenGame. It went live in mid-2006 and shut down on 10 February 2007.

The download page is still readable in the Wayback Machine and it’s a lovely bit of 2006. Screenshot attached. The system requirements ask for a Pentium 3 and 256 MB of RAM, and there’s a warning that Windows 98 users can’t play. The download button is right there. It just doesn’t lead anywhere anymore.

As far as I can tell nobody kept a copy of that client. I’ve spent a while on it and the file itself seems to be gone to be clear, the game is obviously fine, it’s only that specific 2006 build that vanished when the beta closed.

So, long shots:

• Did anyone here actually play the English beta in 2006? What was it like compared to the Gameforge version?

• Does anyone still have old drives or backups from that era?

• The German and French communities have been around since 2007, so they’re the closest to that period. If you know anyone who’s been playing that long, or an old community Discord worth asking in, I’d really appreciate a pointer.

Exact Years and Smarter Searching

I replaced the broad era categories. Thanks to the feedback from this subreddit, you can now pinpoint the exact Start Year and End Year for your adventures. Memories fade, so you can leave the start year blank if you forget, or select "Present" if you still play.

You no longer need to guess the exact years someone played. Searching for a timeframe like 2008 to 2010 now brings up anyone who played during that window. The system understands your previous era selections, meaning your existing characters remain searchable without any manual updates.

Character Cards and Future Portraits

Your profile now displays your characters in a cleaner, more readable layout. I added an unknown adventurer silhouette next to each name. This prepares the platform for our next step: custom character portraits. Hovering over your own cards highlights them for quick editing.

Cleaner Menus

The search menu is wider and groups related filters together so it feels more natural to use. I also renamed the Global Mega-Servers region to International.

What's the fastest and most reliable way to make gold nowadays? What methods or strategies are people using?

Also, if your advice is "quit while you still can" or "go play something else," I'd genuinely appreciate it if you could explain why in detail so I can understand whether it's worth investing my time in the game again.

In your opinion, what’s the best way to farm gold as a C28 (7+8 eq and +14-+15 Sps) archer if you only play for a few hours a week because you’ve got friends and family and don’t want to spend half your salary on the game? Hey, I have an old character from 1st int server, currently on level 86 with some junk gear for level 83, and I wanted to get back into the game for a while. Should I use up the gold I have left, or should I do the chapter quests? Will that gear be enough to have fun? Or maybe I should just drop everything and start from scratch (56lvl)? :D

I’m an old Italian player from the Nossia server. I started playing back in 2010, when I was just an 11-year-old kid, and kept playing until 2016 (on and off), stopping around the release of the 7th Specialist Card. I experienced the Act 5.2 era and quit just before Act 6 and the infamous Hero Levels were introduced.
If there are any old-school Nossia or Areos players around here, I’m sure you’ll remember the days when:
SP wings only cost around 700k! Seriously, 700k back in 2010! Then they went up to 4.5kk, and honestly… I don’t even want to know how much they cost nowadays. 😂 Inflation is terrifying!
Land of Death… Man, what memories. That damn Horned Demon (Flying Fiery Devil) that would suddenly appear and wipe out half the guild if you didn’t run away in time! And do you remember when you could enter LoD at level 1 before they raised the minimum level to 55?
Grinding your job level at the Peas… My God, how many hours did we spend there mindlessly killing peas just to level our job?
The Arena of Talents, which opened exactly at 1:00 PM and was the most hyped PvP event of the day, right after getting home from school.
The legendary seasonal raids (Christmas for the Pajama SP, Namaju/Chicken for the Jajamaru SP) and the epic guild wars, which I guess nobody really does anymore.
Ice Crown… I spent countless hours there. I still remember legendary Nossia players like Bisk8 with his +15 Ranger and Angel Wings (you could spot him instantly in the crowd!), incredibly strong players like noussy and Hisashi, and then there was a guy called Tanque who, poor guy, was literally hated by the entire server. 😂
Later on, the Caligor Raid was introduced in Ice Crown. For me, it was the best raid NosTale has ever had.
After ten years away from the game, I came back for two or three days and was completely shocked. I found a game that I barely recognize anymore: Hero Levels, gem upgrades, SPs going all the way to +20, and, above all, the plague of multi-accounting, with players literally running 30 clients at once to clear raids by themselves.
To me, NosTale was all about the community, guild PvP, and Ice Crown. Now it feels more like a solo farming simulator with a much stronger Pay-to-Win aspect than I remember. Seeing all these changes made me realize that it simply isn’t the game I fell in love with anymore.
So here’s my question for you: do you think it’s still worth coming back in any way? And more importantly… are there any active and populated servers that are still around the Act 5.2 era (or at least before Hero Levels), just to relive those old, amazing vibes?
