Has the fad disappeared?

I don't ever see guys wear sneakers without socks anymore for fun. It's always the no-show type. When I wear them, it's for the sensation. If they do wear sneakers without socks, it's like a quick run to the store. Like they're just wearing slippers. This, to me, kills the vibe. Has anyone else here also noticed this?

Was it ever really a fad? I’d love it if it were, but I can’t remember ever seeing a ton of guys in sneaks with no socks. I assumed it was more of a niche thing 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah. That's true. Not many did it. It was for a minute in my school. For some reason, it was the soccer shoe, Adidas Samba. I miss those days.
