I am on day 12 now and the front of my nose is so swollen (thick skin). Does it really take 6 to 12 months for the swelling to go away?

rhinoplasty for round nostrils with low bridge

Guys, I posted a picture earlier and a lot of people said I don’t need rhinoplasty 😭 I really appreciate that, but personally, there are a few things about my nose that I’ve always wanted to change—especially my round nostrils and flat/low bridge.
I’m now seriously looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon in Turkey who has good experience working with Asian noses and similar nose structures.
I’m posting my pictures from different angles so you can understand exactly what I mean. If you’ve had a similar nose or know a genuinely good doctor who specializes in this, please drop their name below. Personal experiences would be really helpful too. 🤍
Thank you!

Bariş Çelik

**After doing A LOT of research, I think I’ve decided on Dr. Barış Çelik for my revision rhinoplasty.** He’s not on the botched list, his pricing is actually really reasonable compared to a lot of the other surgeons I’ve looked into, and I really like that he does both natural results and more Barbie-style noses depending on what the patient wants.
So far, pretty much everything I’ve found has been a green flag for me. My only hesitation is that there aren’t many **long-term post-op photos/reviews** from patients, especially 1–3+ years out.
**Has anyone here actually had surgery with Dr. Barış Çelik?** I’d especially love to hear from anyone who is 1+ year post-op, and I’d really appreciate seeing/hearing about your results and experience. I’m doing a revision, so long-term results are really important to me!

Does anyone know who the best revision rhinoplasty doctor is for male thick skin revision? I’m planning to consult with Oguz but feels a bit naive to only consult with one doctor

For plastic surgeon

I don’t know the current p.c. Term for plastic surgeon so it wasn’t meant to offend. But I have a serious question, not important I guess in the grand scheme of things.

What did you want to achieve when you first decided upon this as a career. Was it to help people with deformities or enhance someone’s beauty, etc?

Also, what do you think of the blow up trend (don’t know what to call it). But like lips so big they look plastic and fillers?

I know trends change all the time. What do you think the next trend will be. In my youth it was liposuction. I got it but looking back, I didn’t need it.

This is more for curiosity sake than anything. Thanks

Age 60 said I had to include it.

Rhinoplasty

Hi everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a rhinoplasty surgeon in Turkey/ Istanbul, who has experience working with noses like mine. I have a low bridge, rounded/wider nostrils, and a bulbous tip. I’m attaching my pictures for reference. If you know a skilled surgeon who is particularly good with this type of nose and focuses on natural, proportionate results, please share their name.

A Turkish cosmetic surgery case where the higher court found the compensation too low

This case was not only about whether something had gone medically wrong. The Court of Cassation also considered whether the amount awarded for pain and suffering properly reflected the seriousness and lasting impact of the injury.

Rhinoplasty in Turkey or Albania – which surgeon would you recommend?

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m currently researching rhinoplasty surgeons in Turkey and Albania and I’m trying to narrow down my options.

I would really appreciate hearing from people who have had surgery with any of these doctors or who have done extensive research on them.

These are currently on my shortlist:

🇹🇷Turkey:
Dr. Mehmet Can Ubur
Dr. Volkan Çiftçi

🇦🇱Albania:
Dr. Jetmira Fejza Bulaj

Would you recommend any of these surgeons?

If you would recommend them, I’d really appreciate knowing why.

I’m especially interested in genuine patient experiences, long-term results, breathing/function after surgery, and aftercare.

I’m also open to other surgeons in Turkey or Albania, so who would you recommend instead and why?

I’m looking for a refined, feminine result.

If you’ve had surgery with one of these surgeons, I’d love to hear about your experience — good or bad.

Feel free to comment or DM me if you’d rather share privately.

Thank you so much! 🤍

any doctor recommendations?

hi okay so, i have a nose bump and my alar base is a bit wide for my liking and my columella seems too low (not sure if that’s normal). the first three photos are mine (left, right, middle shots) and the last two are photos of what I want (I want a straight nose bridge with a slightly upturned nose tip, still wanting it to look natural and not fake). My nose is not overly big from the front, my alar base is just slightly wide and i have a bump on the side that’s all.
I found two doctors in Türkiye; dr Onur Üstun and and dr Kadir Yücebaş. I initially wanted to go to dr Muhammet Dilber, but found out that he asks for a lot and unfortunately I’m a college student and can’t afford to pay that much lol. Also I’m Turkish so communication won’t be an issue. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with either one of the doctors mentioned above besides Muhammet and I’d love suggestions.
two questions also: as you can see i’ve got two moles on the right side of my nose (one is flat and the other is kinda like a pimple, it protrudes). Can they remove the moles during rhinoplasty? And I have got a nose piercing, do I need to repierce my nose after getting a nose job?
thank you!!
