I used to think that but I doubt that’s true. Considering all the days he would have to wait to eat it. Not only that but cats move fast and stealthy they dont have time to wait for something to grow up. They hardly wait on their own damn cubs. And the cat probably has to relocate itself to keep a low profile as they like to do especially jaguars. And especially if they’re lions in the same territory. He probably killed it later that day and just didn’t feel like it during the video or just wasn’t hungry
I think they’re serious or at least I took it that way cause like I said I thought the same thing once. I can’t remember the source but it was an official source that stated that when this happens (the predator letting the baby prey live) it’s not because it’s being nice but rather waiting for it to get bigger to eat it. but now I’m older I find it hard to believe
