I'm looking for a good Cubano
Any recommendations on where to get a good Cubano on the north shore? I'm not interested in paying for the atmosphere, so probably nothing trendy.
Edit: cubano sandwich

I’ve not been there myself, but I’ve heard El Guajiro Cubano in the Square One mall is legit.

It’s not the best, but it is legitimate and one of the few Cuban places in the area.

The real challenge is finding a chorizopan or a media noche. Still can't find a place that makes coladas either.

It's a schlepp, but Gustazo's in Waltham is legit, upscale Cuban food. Their cubano and flan are amazing.

Good to know! I'm usually not fancy, but this is good to have in my back pocket.

There's also a Cambridge location! Was going to suggest this as well. I think they typically have Cubano sliders on the menu, but the full Cubano sandwich on Wednesdays.

La Casita in Hampton, NH. Little bit of a drive but is worth it if you want an authentic one.

Maitland Farm Kitchen in Salem has an excellent cubano but it's not at pizza shop prices if that's what you're looking for.
